As the leaves begin to don their dazzling red and gold attire, it’s clear that autumn is well and truly underway! And while Swiss Castles Day may already be behind us, Chillon Castle is still bursting with life, offering a wide range of fun, cultural and artistic activities. Whether you’re a family, group of friends, children or grown-ups, there’s something for everyone!
The castle’s most popular event is fast approaching, coming 14 October 2023. Come along and help lift the terrible curse placed on castle mascot, Drako – fantastical fun for the whole family, guaranteed!
Chills and fun with the family
Little ones bursting with energy? Bring them along to try out our medieval dance workshops, in partnership with the Pieds Gauches dance troupe, and let them give the Middle Ages a whirl! Sessions Tuesday 17 and 24 October (10am-12pm).
Immersing in the Middle Ages through rhythm
Chillon Castle is currently home to a series of monumental works by Leah Linh in which she reimagines the era of Count Peter II of Savoy. The young Vaud-based artist will be joining us on Thursday 19 and 26 October (10am-12pm) to encourage more young people to put their own creative stamp on this period of the Middle Ages.
