Café Byron

Our brand, spanking new Café Byron will soon be open! Visitors and locals will be invited to come and sample our regional and seasonal cuisine in this new, ideally situated food and drinks space. With its large bay windows looking out over the castle, Café Byron will be open to visitors in need of a tasty pit-stop throughout the day.

Café Byron will be open every day of the year, except 1 January and 25 December from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Snack bar

Fancy a quick drink while taking in one of the most beautiful views of Chillon?

Tucked away in the Savoy Garden, the castle ‘snack bar’ will help quench your thirst and feed those hunger pangs at the foot of the fortress, a stone’s throw from Lake Geneva.

The ‘snack bar’ is open when weather conditions permitting it.

SOUVENIRS AND OTHER BAZAAR DELIGHTS

Situated in front of the castle, looking out over Lake Geneva, the Bazaar has been around for over 100 years and, these days, is filled with souvenirs, post cards, miscellaneous items, toys and castle trinkets for Chillon Castle visitors to take home as a memento.

What treasures will you unearth at the Castle Shop?

Tucked away in the castle walls, the shop offers visitors a wide range of books and toys, along with souvenirs of Chillon highlights, wine of the castle and hand-crafted items made using traditional techniques.

To underscore the museum tie-in, here you will also find various books on history available in French, English and German. And for the little ones… a treasure trove of medieval figurines, castle models, princess costumes and even a full suit of armour for your little knights and warrior princesses!
