Great visit, highly recommended
We've visited tons of castles all over Europe and this one stands out as one of the nicest ones we've seen. Firstly the location between lake and mountains is just beautiful! The castle itself is very well preserved and you get to explore I think up to almost 40 or 50 different rooms at your own pace. I would strongly recommend a visit to this castle if you are in the area.
An amazing day out on our holiday
Very impressed with the castle and the audio guide.
Touring this castle was the highlight of our trip!. The preservation of its history is fabulous. We climbed to the top of the tower, an the views were breathtaking! A must see for visitors to this area.
Byron Wrote a Poem about It
This chateau is definitely worth a visit. We took a train from Geneva to Montreux and from there, a bus to the castle. The castle commands a great view over the lake, and you'll learn related history and the poem that Lord Byron wrote about the castle.
