The warm weather is back, and the castle is celebrating spring with a special day. Crafts, scents, and skills from the Middle Ages are on display in workshops for all ages.
Between activities, you can sample flavors from yesteryear and local delicacies while meeting our friendly animals. If you have a green thumb, plants will also be in the spotlight!
Among other things, you can:
  • learn about basket weaving, herbalism, and medieval cuisine
  • watch demonstrations of wool spinning
  • take part in a fun trail about the castle’s animals
  • enjoy medieval and local cuisine
