Develop your senses and build curiosity (age 3-6)

3-6 year olds choose an object from our treasure chest, then follow a guide through the many rooms in the castle. This tour is child-friendly and focuses on touch, helping little ones understand everyday medieval life through everyday objects.

Follow our guide through the rooms of the castle

Discover everyday medieval life in the company of a costumed tour guide who will show you through the rooms of the castle, from the cellars to our great halls.

You might be surprised by some of their astonishing anecdotes from the Middle Ages.

Drako Club is exclusive to children aged 4-14 and membership comes with free entry to ‘family’ events (excluding autumn workshops). Members get plenty of perks, including free entry to the castle, 10% discount on ‘children’s items’ in the Castle Shop and a welcome gift.

Christmas treats especially for Drako Club members

The castle dragon invites his Club friends to join him for Christmas nibbles. What’s on? A tasty treat, photos with Father Christmas, a Christmas story, plus an arts and crafts workshop. A cosy get-together to celebrate Christmas.
