The photographer Samuel Bitton with the collaboration of Pro Natura will exhibit his most beautiful photographs of landscapes in the Alps and around Lake Geneva in the Castle of Chillon’s Hall of Coats-of-Arms.
Through the meeting of the minds of photographer Samuel Bitton and of Pro Natura, you will discover magnificent Alpine landscapes and also the treasures within them.
The myriad of natural Alpine environments, as varied as they are fragile, form a mosaic of light and colour. As art photography and naturalists’ knowledge come together, these magical images remind us once more of the beauty of Nature, and make us aware of the need to preserve it intact.
Samuel Bitton was born in France in 1975. His passion for the mountains and wide-open spaces was the reason he trained in panoramic landscape photography.
His essentially Anglo-Saxon references are renowned landscape photographers who prefer very colourful large format photos, such as Joe Cornish, Colin Prior, Lee Frost, Tom Mackie and Gelen Rowell.
Samuel Bitton is a very promising young photographer, who has often received awards in the landscape category in photography contests.
