Selection of Chasselas wine from Lavaux’s terraced vineyards, registered as UNESCO World Heritage site in 2007.
Chillon Castle Foundation Reserve is a triple alliance of Chasselas tradition, the prestige of the Lavaux vineyards and the widely acknowledged quality of BADOUX-VINS.
After slow and gentle pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place for several days at relatively low temperatures, so as to produce maximum viscosity and round body, whilst maintaining the bouquet’s delicacy and specificity. Malolactic fermentation during six months aging in vats gives the wine its finesse.
Colour: Beautiful lemon yellow, clear and shiny.
Nose: Chillon Castle Réserve de Chillon has a bouquet of white flowers and white flesh fruit, complemented by mineral notes.
Mouthfeel : Fresh and crisp on the palate, its character and body, generated by its invigorating structure, are enhanced by its pleasantly mineral and sophisticated finish.
Wine and food
The ideal accompaniment for a before-dinner drink or a reception, it is also excellent with a fish or vegetable terrine, trout meunière, perch fillets from the lake, asparagus in a creamy sauce.
