Down in the underground cellars of the Castle of Chillon, Antoine leaves his school friends to follow Julienne. They are drawn in to the Middle Ages in a mysterious adventure to search for the castellan’s daughter, who has been kidnapped by outlaws. Their investigations will take them through the depths and hidden corners of the castle, to the village of Chillon and to the town of Villeneuve. Will they find the trace of Mathilde?

This exciting story takes young readers back to the XIVth century and is an ideal complement to a visit to the castle or as an educational gift. Written for children 7 to 11 years old, this little book includes games and quizzes to discover the history of the castle and life in the Middle Ages.
